ACCESS’ Syringe Service Program is a community-based harm reduction program that provides a range of services to assist persons who use drugs (PWUD). Their services include sterile/safer use supplies, collection and disposal of used syringes, infectious disease testing/treatment, wound care services, MAT/MOUD services, case management and linkages to human service providers in Macomb County, Wayne County, and Oakland County.

Location:

4301 E. 14 Mile Rd Sterling Heights MI 48310. Their mobile clinic delivers to Macomb County and the east side of Detroit.

Hours:

Office hours are Mon through Fri from 10AM until 4PM. Delivery hours are Tues and Thurs from 1PM until 4PM.

Detroit Recovery Project ( DRP )

Detroit Recovery Project has a mobile SSP that’s on the street in Detroit Monday through Friday. They provide syringe services, safe using kits, condoms, Narcan, hygiene products, on site HIV and Hepatitis C testing along with linkage to SUD treatment.

HARM:LESS

HARM:LESS is a Macomb county syringe service program that offers harm reduction supplies and help with access and transportation to treatment. They also have a street medicine team with them that provides medical care.

Location:

The HARM:LESS mobile unit is located at the northeast corner of 8 Mile and Gratiot in the Burger King parking lot.

Hours:

Monday, Wednesday , and Thursday from 10AM until 2PM.

Safe Point!

Safe Point! is an SSP that services the city of Detroit. In addition to syringes and safe use kits, they provide HIV/HCV testing and counseling, wound care kits, hygiene kits, and linkage to medical care.

Location:

Changes depending on day.

Hours:

Tuesday: 1pm-3pm team wellness center Easter market (2925 Russell street)

Wednesday: 11am-1pm Solomon’s temple (2341 E Seven mile)

Thursday: 10am-12pm in the parking lot at the corner of fenkell and Southfield between the rite aid and dollar general (18606 Fenkell ave) 1pm-3pm team wellness center eastern market (2925 Russell street)

SOOAR Boots on the Ground (BOG) Harm Reduction Program

SOOAR provides prevention tools such as safer use kits such as syringes and pipes, safer sex kits, Narcan and drug testing kits, and hygiene and survival supplies. Connections to food, housing, substance use management/treatment and so much more. HIV/HCV testing is coming soon. Community empowerment and drug user human rights is centered in our services. 
We are out in the streets and connecting in various areas in Out-Wayne County. We are working on securing locations in Belleville, contact us for arrangements. Wednesday we are out in our mobile unit providing syringe access up and down Michigan Ave in Inkster from 4-6 pm.
